I Finally Got a Job!

I finally got a teaching job! I will be teaching 8th grade math in Judson ISD, and I could not be more excited. I've already started gathering supplies and decorations for my room, and we start "new employee orientations" next week. I'm really nervous and I hope the kids and the other teachers will like me, but I've already met the principal and she's really nice, so I'm sure everything will be okay. There is just so much to do and so little time to do it all!

Abi also came to visit last week, and it was fun getting to hang out with her before all of her activites start up again. I can't believe she's going to be in 7th grade! She's also made the cheerleading squad, which should be really fun for her because most of her friends also made it. While she was here, we went to movies and got our nails done. Our biggest adventure was going to Sea World and swimming with the sea lions!! It was so much fun and I'm really glad we had the opportunity to do it. I'll post pictures soon!
